In 1987, a group of engineers founded Prosisa Informática, with a common vision for excellence: a new generation of pioneers with innovative products and services in the areas of computer science and telecommunications.

The enterprise, together with its founders and their ideals, gradually consolidated itself through market experience and transformed the ideals into reality - the dream and the reality fused into one.

The firm's evolution is clearly visible when one looks back on its history. In the mid-eighties it launched new products in field data collection for public utility companies and on-line billing; the '90s brought the promising market of satellite wireless services and the developing technology together with the firm's growing experience gave added market value to the firm which has now directed itself exclusively to Internet Security Technologies and Smart Cards bringing with it additional third party investors via its recently established controlled Prosisa Overseas Limited Liability Company.

Alert to the growing demand for security and privacy needs on on-line transactions, Prosisa Overseas has now focused itself to become a respected player in the world market for Smart Cards, and has already participated in remarkable changes in consumer products and client convenience in the financial sector as well as in the utility of the Internet as an alternative marketing and commercial instrument.
